Team events are a great opportunity to promote collaboration and working together on challenges. This improves team spirit and strengthens mutual trust. A team and company event can also help to ensure that all employees are motivated and committed. Don’t miss out on these *hot* tips this summer for an event with WOW effect guarantee!

1. Via ferrata

If you want to make an active and adventurous group happy with a company event, a via ferrata event can be a great way to encourage and reward your employees. Via ferratas are a challenging but safe way to climb in an alpine environment. You don’t need to have much knowledge of mountaineering as you will be taught the basics by our mountain guide on site.

All participants should generally be fit and have a tolerance for heights, as these events are sure to be airy! Depending on the via ferrata, very short access routes can be chosen, for example by using cable cars or Alpine taxis.

Switzerland offers a variety of via ferratas for beginners and advanced climbers, which are ideal for a company event. Here are a few examples of the locations where we offer our via ferrata events:

– Via ferrata Diavolo in the Schöllenen gorge, Andermatt;

– Brunnistöckli via ferrata in Engelberg;

– Crocodile via ferrata in Göschenen;

– Via ferrata Tre Signori on Monte Carasso, Ticino

and many more!

2. Guided hike, views and picnic included!

Hiking is a great way to enjoy nature and relax. The Swiss landscapes and hiking routes are ideal for mixed groups of all ages. The selected hiking trails are ideal for a team event or company event. How about a hike at sunset, for example, with a view of Lake Lucerne? Hiking is the perfect way to pick up even less sporty colleagues and still experience beautiful moments in nature as a team. In this case too, Switzerland offers a very good infrastructure and the best conditions for offering guided hikes in the mountains. A hiking guide will provide your team with exciting and instructive information about our ecosystem, the flora and fauna of the region and the culture of the mountain area. There are plenty of hikes in Central Switzerland that are ideal for beginners or advanced hikers and that offer a vantage point to end the team event with a picnic in the most beautiful scenery. A few examples of the places where we will be organising our guided hikes with a view:

– Hikes on Eggberge, Canton Uri;

– Hikes on Pilatus, Lucerne;

– Hikes in Amden on Lake Walen;

– Hikes in Ticino, for example in the area above Ascona and Locarno

and many more!

3. Climbing course for beginners on the rock

If your employees have no previous climbing experience, a climbing course can be a great way to challenge them and learn new skills. We offer rock climbing courses for beginners, combined with short hikes or picnics after the adventure. All equipment is provided so that the team only has to concentrate on climbing. At such team events, participants can learn the basic techniques and slowly approach vertical climbing. Your colleagues can find out their limits and grow together as a team. A climbing course also promotes mutual trust and improves communication. We offer our climbing courses as a company event at the following locations, among others:

– Melchsee-Frutt climbing crag, Obwalden;

– Climbing crags around Zurich, for example on Lake Walen;

– Chli Schijen climbing crag, Schwyz;

– Climbing crags in and around Uri;

and many more!

4. Glacier trekking: travelling with crampons and ice axe, simply wow!

A glacier trekking event can be a breathtaking and unforgettable experience for you and your colleagues. There are many glaciers in Switzerland that are suitable for such 1-day trekking tours. Our experienced mountain guides can lead all participants on an impressive glacier landscape and give them fascinating insights into nature. Everyone also receives a thorough briefing and preparation for walking on a rope with crampons. Glacier treks are particularly appealing and allow participants to experience a real adventure in a special setting. We organise our glacier treks for company events on:

Aletsch Glacier, Valais;

– Rhone Glacier, Valais;

– Basòdino Glacier, Ticino

and many more!

5. Sleeping under the stars: Bivouac or tent?

Camping in nature can be an unforgettable experience and offers a great way to relax and experience adventure. A camping event can be combined with a hike or via ferrata to create an unforgettable outdoor experience. As camping is not allowed everywhere in Switzerland, please contact us if you would like to organise such an event. We also only offer this in small groups and only in compliance with the ‘Leave No Trace’ principles. In any case, a night under the stars is a great way to spend time with your team and get to know your colleagues better! An overnight stay in a tent is particularly special for the first time and leaves lasting memories!
