International Slackline Ass. Certified Rigger

Intended Schedule:

10:00

From the meeting point at the Ibergeregg Pass, Schwyz, we gently hike to the climbing area of Chli Schijen (approx. 20 minutes).

Here we will find an already set up midline, approximately 35 m long and 20 m high off the ground. We will have a short warm up and an explanation about safety procedures and how the highlines are meant to function while we walk over them. Now the fun begins! One after the other we will tie the "leash" to our climbing harness and try our best at balancing over the line! We will give you useful tips and tricks to make it to the other side, as well as make some test "falls" so that you can get acquainted to this new activity.

14:00

Time to eat a bite! Relax and enjoy our delicious vegetarian picnic lunch, meant to fuel you up for the afternoon session! If you rather want to grill your own food, there is a fireplace with lake view right next to the climbing routes waiting for you.

15:00

Second session it is! We discuss each member's unique slacklining skill and prepare for another session of highlining. If you'd like to climb, the area is full of well-equipped sport climbing routes!

18:00

Unmounting the lines and walking back to the meeting point.
