A challenging 110 km multi-day trek that runs close to the Illampu (6368 m) and Ancohuama (6429 m) volcanoes. Our trip mostly takes place above 4000 m and unfolds between passes, wide valleys and the odd llama sighting. An active trip in a class of its own for hiking enthusiasts.
We climb three striking peaks around La Paz, combining an incredible mountaineering trip with exploring this fascinating high-altitude capital and its region. Depending on what the participants want, we can offer different summits, from an “easy” high-altitude trek up a 6000m peak to more technical ascents in more remote places.
We visit Bolivia's southernmost regions with their impressive, wild landscapes. In a 4×4 off-road vehicle we reach altitudes of up to 5000 m and camp in remote, hard-to-reach places. Depending on what the participants want, we can also climb a mountain or two.
