Thanks to the rock quality of first class, the countless amount of climbing crags and the welcoming weather, Finale Ligure has established itself as an Italian climbing hotspot in recent years. The distinctly delicious Mediterranean cuisine, the relaxed end of climbing days in the “Piazza” with sea view and the relaxed atmosphere complete this climbing vacation of a special nature.

Climbing Eldorado Finale Ligure – Your climbing holiday with sea view
Finale Ligure needs no great introduction for the climbers among us. The area proves to be one of the hotspots for sport climbing in Italy, and not without a good reason! Finale Ligure is not only quickly accessible from Switzerland (about 5 hours drive), but also offers hundreds of climbing crags and approx. 4’000 Routes of every orientation, difficulty and approach length in the closest area. Here you will find climbing projects in compact eroded lime and succeed in them. No matter if you are looking to increase your onsight level, to climb on lead clean or just to enjoy a relaxed holiday with like-minded people.
The coast of Liguria also scores due to its stable weather conditions, the extremely renowned Italian cuisine and the relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger in the evening in front of an Aperol Spritz and a delicious pizza in the “Piazza” (meeting place in the center of town).
Thanks to an experienced climbing instructor you will be coached on site as desired. Thus, you will not only experience a week with sea views and the most beautiful climbing crags of northern Italy, but also fast-track your climbing career to the next level.

Planned schedule of the climbing week in Finale Ligure
Day 1
Travel from Switzerland by public transport or carpooling. Arrival and check-in at our accommodation. Relaxed walk through the old town and if the temperature allows a refreshing dive into the sea. Discussion of the wishes, goals and climbing contents of the week with the climbing guide.
Day 2-6
A full program awaits us! Long climbing days, fine local food and technique coaching are on the agenda. Of course, the relaxing times will not be missing, with delicious gelato on the beach included 😉
Day 7
The morning is still at our disposal to shop for the last souvenirs, to climb the last route or to take a last plunge into the water. In the afternoon we head back towards Switzerland. It was nice being with you!
