Georgia is a true gem when it comes to breathtaking powder skiing and remote alpine challenges.
Join us on this incredible ski touring and freeride trip based around the highest inhabited villages in Europe, amidst a backdrop of 4000 m peaks and Georgia’s highest mountain Shkhara (5193 m).
Experience Georgian hospitality first hand and taste delicious food such as khachapuri, khinkali and chacha brandy.
Round off your adventure in the Georgian backcountry with a pinch of culture by visiting the capital city of Tbilisi, famous for its hip vibes, flea markets and special architecture. Recover from the exhausting week of touring by visiting the thermal and sulfur baths. Some villages we will visit during our trip are: Ushguli, Kutaisi, Mazeri, Mestia, Tbilisi.

Day 1
Journey from Zürich or Milan by plane. We are happy to organize travel by train, if desired. Overnight stay in Kutaisi

Day 2
Arrival to Svaneti region and check-in in local guest house, cottage, or hotel

Day 3
Ski tour/freeride day depending on snow conditions

Day 4
Ski tour/freeride day depending on snow conditions

Day 5
Ski tour/freeride day depending on snow conditions
Day 6
Change of the valley and visit of the highest continuously animated village in Europe “Ushguli”. Starting point for further tours in the finest deep snow

Day 7
Ski tour/freeride day depending on snow conditions

Ski tour/freeride day depending on snow conditions

Day 9
Exploring the capital Tbilisi, a lively multicultural city famous for its thermal baths and street markets. Visit to the thermal baths, to relax after the strains of the previous days.

Return journey to Zurich or Milan. Until the next adventure together!

Catering
- Snacks (not included, serves to replenish energy reserves): This is eaten between breakfast and dinner and taken along for appropriate days. Dried fruit, chocolate, cheese, wholemeal bread and energy bars are good. Remember that your backpack should not be too heavy.

Half board (included): Out of commitment to animal welfare, we refrain from offering fish/meat on our tours. Nevertheless, you can of course order what you prefer at the local restaurants, be it vegetarian or of animal origin.
