Fitness

Endurance

Good fitness for ascents between 800 and 1500 vertical metres per day.

Programme

Arrival by plane. We are happy to organise an arrival by train if desired. Overnight stay in the million-strong metropolis of Sapporo.

Flieger

Transfer to Niseko, where we visit the Raiden Range and climb different volcanoes every day. Among other things we do the Mt. Niseko-Annupuri round tour, ski down Mount Yotei and even climb the free-standing cone volcano of Yotai-San. Here and there we treat ourselves to a thermal bath in local onsen to recover from the exertions of the powder runs.

We drive east into the Kamifurano and Asahikawa area, which is located in the Hokkaido region. Here we prepare for more great ski touring days in an alpine environment. Today serves as a rest day and transfer day, whereby a short ski tour can still be added if desired.

We spend the remaining days in the magnificent Daisetzusan National Park, where we will experience the best snow conditions in Japan. Among other things we can climb and ski Mount Upepesanke, Mount Maru, Mount Funaro or Mount Asahidake.

Return journey to Sapporo, city tour and farewell dinner, return flight to Switzerland
