Tent based Ridge and Alpine Climbing Course
Today was an incredibly instructive day: From the correct use of the climbing rope and protecting on pinnacles and rock structures, to the rappelling technique and route selection, we have learned quite a lot! Furthermore, we were able to climb an exciting alpine ridge, which can be quite tiring!
We sit in a circle and enjoy some fine camping food, talk and joke together and enjoy the clear starry sky. We toast to a first successful day before heading to the tents. Tomorrow will be another great climbing day with like-minded people!
On the second day we give it all again on the rock: we will share many more tips and tricks for climbing alpine climbs, so you can deepen your knowledge and climbing technique in complete safety.

Planned schedule of the Ridge and Alpine Climbing Course
Day 1
From the meeting point we divide the material and hike to the ridge intended for our course. As soon as we arrive, it’s time to get going with some climbing! After a theoretical introduction, we will practice a lot ourselves, under the supervision of an experienced mountain guide. As soon as the fingertips start to hurt and the energy is slowly used up, the time has come to set up the base camp. We choose a plain with a panoramic view on the alpine world, and let the day end with a camping dinner. If you wish, you can still enjoy the silence of the night and watch the shooting stars. Good night 🙂
Day 2
We look at more complex topics of alpine climbing and ridge climbing, as well as receiving numerous tips and tricks on tactics when alpine climbing. Among other things, we learn the necessary techniques to escape from an emergency situation while alpine climbing to safety, rappelling and much more.
Once again we have to practice, practice, practice in order to apply the techniques we acquired. At the end of the course everyone will be able to climb alpine routes and ridges independently and in complete safety.
