Sur Lipez Bolivia – Exploring the high-altitude desert between Chile and Argentina with a tent and 4×4 off-road vehicle

Experience an unforgettable 10-day expedition to the most breathtaking natural wonders Bolivia has to offer!

Our journey takes us to the impressive Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt lake in the world, where we will camp on the endless white salt flat and enjoy an incomparable sunset. We continue to the picturesque Laguna Colorada, Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, which live up to their names and are home to four different species of flamingo.

The fascinating Salvador Dalí Desert awaits us with surreal landscapes, bright red and white colors and bizarre rock formations reminiscent of the artworks of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí.

However, this trip not only offers spectacular natural phenomena, but also cultural insights. We immerse ourselves in the unique indigenous culture of this region, visiting traditional villages where centuries-old traditions, languages and crafts have been preserved. A visit to the highest city in the world, La Paz, at 3625 m above sea level, provides the crowning glory.

Our Bolivia trip to Sur Lipez is therefore not only an exploration trip at its best, but also a challenge with overnight stays in tents! We immerse ourselves in a fascinating country, characterized by cultural and scenic delicacies.
