Requirements:

No snowshoeing experience necessary.

Generally fit and able to hike at least 3 hours.

Intended Schedule:

10:00

At the meeting point, we organize our equipment and take the cable car up to the starting point of the adventure.

From here, we will gently walk with our snowshoes through wintry landscapes, enjoying warming sun rays as well as the crunching of snow under our snowshoes.

12:30

A pic-nic style lunch awaits us, as well as a cup of warming tea. We enjoy the view far into the snow-covered Uri Alps. After this break, we hike again on easily accessible paths towards the mountain station. From there, the cable car takes us back to the starting point of the adventure. End of the adventure around 16:00.

Additional service: summit fondue

For an extra charge of 40.- CHF it is possible to enjoy a tasty fondue on the summit. Please request this extra service in advance.

Catering:

Snacks: These will be eaten between breakfast and dinner, so pack enough for the days of the tour. Dried fruit, chocolate, cheese, wholemeal bread and energy bars suit well. To avoid your backpack from being too heavy, try not to bring too much food with you.
Picnic style lunch: included in this tour. As a commitment to animal welfare, we do not offer fish/meat. We still try our best to keep the menu as exciting as possible despite logistical difficulties. Please notify us in advance of any special dietary needs.
